POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for all day-to-day accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial record keeping, preliminary budget preparation, preliminary year-end audit preparation, and facility capital purchasing. This position will also be responsible for interpreting financial statements and assisting with financial analysis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understands and promotes the mission, policies, and procedures of Pandion Optimization Alliance.
Under minimal supervision, responsible for all day-to-day accounting for all companies; including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly reconciliations, investment reconciliations, financial record keeping, prepare monthly financial statement and related reports.
Responsible for providing preliminary financial reports and analysis for board meetings and special projects.
Responsible for preliminary annual budget development and preliminary year-end audit preparations.
Responsible for reviewing bi-weekly payroll reports for journal entry purposes, and processing reports related to 401(k) withholds and PTO Exchange. Calculates all payroll transactions and journal entries
Tracks all capital purchases and inputs depreciation data on fixed asset management system.
Responsible for off-site storage inventory and record retention
Responsible for compliance specific vendor contact and collections process improvement
Maintain and update procedure manual specific to current positions
Perform other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENTS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, video conferencing equipment, and LCD projectors
PHYSICIAL DEMANDS:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend or stand, as necessary. Must be able to use and manipulate normal office tools, converse effectively via correspondence and orally (especially the telephone), sit for prolonged periods of time and to move about the facilities
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree Accounting required.
5-7 years Accounting Clerk or bookkeeper experience. Experience with multi company inter-company accounting preferable. Must be proficient in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Functioning knowledge of Sage Intacct, including FAS preferred.
Must possess a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, accuracy, and sense of urgency.
Must be able to work without close supervision. Must be able to respond to complex written and oral instructions. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and function effectively within a team. Must possess a high sense of urgency about work. Professional demeanor
