The Controller will be responsible for leading and directing McNeilus’s accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining the accounting systems, procedures, and policies. The Controller will lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, manage the general ledger, and oversee accounts payable and receivable. This role will provide information for management through preparation and presentation of financial statements and analysis reports. The main objective of this role is to direct business transactions processing teams in various finance areas in compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal control requirements.
YOUR IMPACT:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators, providing actionable insights and recommendations improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Collaborate with corporate finance teams to support financial reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives to optimize plant financial performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies aligned with the company’s objectives.
Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
Three (3) or more years of managerial/supervisory experience.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to travel 10%.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Public Accountant
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Financial management and accounting experience with manufacturing industry
Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
