About the job
Our FP&A Manager will support our VP of Finance and Operations by helping design and implement strategies ranging from accounting norms to standardizing financial forecasts, as well as, operations performance reporting. This role will require a highly detailed oriented person who can build partnerships across the organization and have strategic discussions that drive strategic business decision-making based on sound financial modeling and analysis. This is a great opportunity to gain executive exposure within a startup environment while helping drive sound business decisions across the organization.
What you’ll do:
Partner with the Accounting team to develop and implement Accounting Strategies
Build and provide monthly reporting: budget vs. actual, flux analysis, P&L, etc.
Provide Revenue Analysis to uncover insight that drives sound decision-making
Facilitate and support business planning and budgeting processes with functional leaders
Design, implement, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and ad-hoc metrics
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
Must-Haves:
3 to 5 years in a Corporate FP&A role, investment banking, commercial finance or combination of Finance and Accounting
Experience supporting and partnering with operations and/or functional leaders
Self-starter with advanced modeling skills who is comfortable under pressure
Working knowledge of SQL is a huge plus
Ability to think critically about the business while absorbing new information
Ability to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment while navigating some of the ambiguities that come with it
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role can be 100% Remote within the US or Canada.
