The Orange Grove Center is a private non-profit organization that serves adults and children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD). The agency was founded in 1953 by a group of Chattanooga parents and community leaders who were seeking services for children with disabilities. We’ve been proudly serving those needs ever since.
Job Overview:
Directs the financial affairs of the organization and prepares financial analysis of operations, including interim and final Financial Statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management and Board of Directors. Responsible for all financial plans and policies, the organization’s accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, preparation of final reports, and preparation of cash forecast and relationships with lending institutions. The position provides supervision over general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, budgetary controls, data processing, and service recipient information center.
