Job Description for Marketing Internship :
OMI is looking for a Marketing Intern with a passion for problem solving and finding trends while analyzing data. As a Marketing Intern, you will work directly with the Sales and Marketing team to gain first-hand experience in developing customer profiles, market research and analyzing sets of data.
You will also have the opportunity to assist with the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns and designs, as well as website marketing efforts.
This environment will allow you to take on tasks and think for yourself while gaining valuable experience that can be applied throughout your academic and professional career.
We are looking for an individual who is willing to innovate and bring new ideas to the organization.
Responsibilities and Duties for Marketing Intern :
- Monitoring sellers on Amazon and other eMarketplaces.
- Assist with the design and implementation of email marketing campaigns.
- Creating competitive analysis and market research reports.
- Monitoring product reviews and customer feedback
- Help with website updates and edits to improve user experience and drive purchases.
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as social media graphics and landing pages.
- Assist with the measurement and analysis of digital marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with vendors or internal creative teams on paid search or social campaigns, including developing campaign ideas and recommending keywords for optimization.
- Review affiliate and influencer marketing campaigns and identify new trends, ideas, and potential influencers to work with.
- Work with internal teams to write blog or email copy.
- Collaborate with the SEO team on keyword research and optimization, conduct technical SEO audits and implement improvements, and provide recommendations for improving site speed.
- Assist with the planning and execution of other digital marketing efforts, as needed.
- Suggesting new product recommendations.
- Other duties / projects as assigned.

Requirements :
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the field of Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics / Science, Business, or related field
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and able to facilitate multiple projects with varied deadlines
