ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Finance team at Ocean Spray is looking for a high-performing individual to join our USA Commercial Finance group. You would act as the main financial support for our long-term innovation team, which is focused on creating sizable growth opportunities outside of our core categories. Additionally, you would work closely with members of Finance, Tech, and the USA business teams to develop and implement new analytical capabilities that enable the USA team to more efficiently identify & action risks and opportunities.
This role requires someone with a strong interest in using data and systems to solve problems, and an ability to drive efficient decision-making. Posiiton Location: This is a remote role.
RESPONSIBILITIES – The role has the following main functions:

Act as the main financial support to the Director of Ecosystem Innovation (long-term innovation) and her team (approx. 40% of time):
- Analyze financial feasibility of entering new markets, categories, and products. This includes testing key strategic/business assumptions, performing scenario analyses, and creating detailed financial analytics
- Provide thought leadership and partner with the Ecosystem team, and identify solutions to achieve key performance objectives

Create and implement new analytical tools and dashboard capabilities (approx. 40% of time):
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Finance, Tech, and business teams) to develop and execute a “Tools & Analytics Roadmap”
- These capabilities will enable the USA Finance & Commercial team to identify key risks & opportunities, and ultimately make quick & informed decisions

Provide support to the Director of USA Commercial Finance (approx. 20% of time):
- Report on Key Performance Indictors (KPIs) for the USA business unit
- Drive continuity across the USA business unit during strategic routines, including Annual Operating Budget planning and Long Range planning cycles
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in any of the following fields – FP&A, Consulting, or Investment Banking
- Robust analytical skills, structured, logical and creative thinking, focused on problem-solving and continuous process improvement
- Ability to work independently in a matrix organization and handle competing priorities
- Must be highly organized, able to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced, complex and evolving business environment
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Ability to think both at the strategic and implementation level – to think big while also diving deep
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Technologically savvy and highly proficient use of Excel, PowerPoint & other Microsoft products
