Founded in 1991, we offer an intensive outpatient chemical dependency program, psychological testing, and behavioral health and medication management services.
We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Account Representative to join our Arden Hills Business Office.

After training, this role would have the option to work fully remote (work from home).
Job Duties:
Daily review and billing out of provider charges Weekly reconciliation of Encounter Reports to ensure all acknowledged appointments are billed Communication with providers on all missing billing Verifying that claims are billed out properly which includes but is not limited to:
DX Codes CPT Codes Provider Credentialing Insurances Modifiers Manage Assigned Task baskets Entering all charge by deadline dates – 3 deadlines per month Professional communication with providers and business office staff Re-billing and/or Void & Re-enter claims as requested by management or providers To include required information by the insurance company Weekly review of updated insurance information Individual cheat sheets to be updated weekly Expire non-applicable notes from patient accounts Field/Resolve provider/clinic inquires via Email/Task within 24 hours Attend and participate in biweekly staff meetings and any other meetings and/or training sessions as indicated Bi – monthly running and reconciliation of hold reports to ensure billing is sent out Communication with supervisor in regards to any workflow issues All other duties as assigned by Management Job Expectations Recognize any errors being made during self-audits for billing charges Fixing those errors before sending out claims to insurance companies Charges are entered within 24 hours of OP Appointment Charges are entered within 48 hours of CB Appointment Task baskets Inquiries are followed up within 24 hours of creation Adjust/Edits are completed within 45 days Recognize/report trends and patterns with providers & clinics Open communication with Supervisor Arrive and leave on time according to assigned schedule Attend and participate in biweekly staff meetings and any other meetings and/or training sessions as indicated.

Qualifications:
Insurance billing and follow up experience; Mental Health experience preferred.

Familiarity with insurance company guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
Detail oriented, flexible problem solver; maintains a positive attitude.
.
Computer Experience required; Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook Customer service experience.
High school graduate or above.
