Nottingham School District Business Administrator/Finance Manager After a full year of planning for the transition from SAU 44 the Nottingham School District will become an independent SAU as of July 1, 2022. The Nottingham School Board is searching for a full time Business Administrator/ Finance Manager for our newly formed SAU. We would extend the opportunity for the successful candidate to participate in the process of developing the business operations of the new SAU on a consulting basis prior to July 1. The SAU offices will be located in a lovely historic town building that is being freshly renovated by the town and school district.The District maintains one school building, Nottingham Elementary School which serves approximately 500 students from Pre-School through grade 8.
The district tuitions its 260 high school students to Coe Brown Academy in Northwood, NH and Dover High School in Dover, NH. Nottingham is a growing, picturesque community of 5,200 residents located 30 minutes from Concord, Manchester, Portsmouth, and the NH seacoast.Responsibilities include general oversight of the district business practices and accounting. Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting or Finance or comparable major. Certification by the State as a Business Administrator or a statement of eligibility is preferred.
Candidates should have experience with State of NH and Department of Education reporting requirements and timelines.This position is open until filled.
