Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Manager Finance 2 for Armament Systems at the Plymouth MN facility.
The selected candidate will become an integral part of the Armament Systems and manage the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes.
The selected candidate will provide direct supervision to the FP&A staff and coordinate all activities that relate to financial planning and ing.
The selected candidate will coordinate and work closely with the Armament Systems finance managers and analysts, and other functions across the organization, to complete the following activities:
5 Year Long Range Strategic Plan
Monthly Forecast Projections
Monthly actual closings and ing
Monthly Operations ing Process and support the Reviews for the Business Unit and Division
Quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) coordination
Cash forecasting
Coordinate responses to Ad Hoc requests from Business Unit, Division, Sector or Corporate.
The selected candidate will be the primary point of contact (POC) for any financial data that needs to be ed up the Northrop Grumman hierarchy.
Position will require a good working relationship with the Division finance staff and controller to ensure our financial data is accurately and properly communicated.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining our financial planning and ing tools to ensure data is accumulated properly to meet deliverables to Division/Sector.
Position will also be primary contact to work with the Division/Sector on any financial planning and ing tool enhancements.
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‐hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider High School diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 14 years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of related experience – OR – a Master’s degree with 8 years of related experience
Financial Planning & ing experience
Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment
Ability to work across cross functional teams to complete deliverables
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace/defense industry and business management experience
FAR/DFARS experience
Program cost control
Strong presentation skills
Cognos/TM1 experience
Active Secret Security Clearance
Salary Range:
$116,600 USD – $175,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
