Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a highly qualified Manager 2 International Trade Compliance to join the Global Surveillance division International Trade Compliance (ITC) team. This position is based of San Diego, CA and supports a part-time hybrid telework arrangement for candidates in Southern California.
Responsibilities Include:
Develops and manages comprehensive internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies in the conduct of international marketing, sales, supply chain and other business activities.
Establishes business processes for submitting to and obtaining from the US government all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations.
Establishes and maintains relations with appropriate government regulatory agencies.
Establishes operational processes for assuring trade compliance through gate reviews of technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments.
Maintains applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Executes operational processes and provides transactional support for assuring trade compliance through gate reviews of technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits, and export and import shipments.
Manage a team of export professionals of varying levels of experience

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of 9 years of international trade compliance experience or 7 years of related experience with a Masters or must a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 14 years of international trade compliance experience or related military experience.
Proficiency in the ITAR and EAR
Proficient in assessment and application of export and import regulations and commodity jurisdiction and classification determinations.
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S Department of Defense Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Empowered Official
Experience with OCR EASE Software and SAP GTS
Experience in Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure processes
Working knowledge of MTCR
Experience in both DCS and FMS export requirement
Experience supporting business development activities

Salary Range: $122,200 USD – $183,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
