North Point Hospitality Hiring for Vice President of Finance and Accounting Job at Atlanta, GA Full Time

The Vice President of Finance- Accounting, will bear day-to-day responsibility for implementing, managing, planning and controlling all property level finance and accounting activities for multiple assets. The scope of responsibility will include overseeing a corporate accounting team and members of the team in the field at the hotels. The expectation is for deep immersion in all financial activities with a tight rein on compliance and accuracy through hands-on daily involvement. Additionally, the Vice President of Finance- Accounting will provide insight and advice to corporate leadership in support of Company initiatives, as well as contribute to overall efforts to continually improve the financial performance of the Company by creating efficiencies through technology. The Vice President of Finance-Accounting will be expected to lead the accounting team in all efforts required for Company growth and the addition of new assets, anticipating the needs of the department and aligning processes to scale for growth while maintaining accuracy and compliance. The successful candidate will have a complementary blend of quantitative/analytical skills and emotional intelligence, strong work ethic and passion for excellence.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years’ experience in hotel accounting and/or accounting management in the hospitality industry and two (2) years management experience

• Bachelors’ degree in accounting, finance or hospitality

• Skilled at technical accounting and GAP

• Knowledge of Great Plains, M3 Platforms as well as USALI strongly desired

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $89,700.59 – $219,115.24 per year
