WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Finance Manager SG&A to join the Global Business Planning team. This person will play a key role in helping Converse build, lead, and execute strategies & business plans that drive sustainable, profitable, and brand accretive growth. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of financial modeling, operational improvement, strong presentation skills, and the ability to lead complexity across the portfolio in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Lead the Global financial planning process that focuses on value creation and aligning resources with strategic priorities
Develop and own investment planning gates, including development and creation of financial models, templates, timelines, and processes to ensure efficient and informed target development
Lead the FP&A efforts for the SG&A segment, including long term strategic planning, annual operating and capital budget planning, and forecasting
Actively interpret and review financial results with senior leaders, including analyzing trends/issues and finding opportunities in order to drive actionable responses
Execute the monthly reporting and forecasting analysis and present risks and opportunities along with actionable items to senior leadership
Develop new tools and processes to support Converse financial planning and reporting
Continuously look at opportunities to optimize processes and models used and provide more timely and relevant insights across our investment landscape
Lead a team and define goals aligned with broader functional priorities
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Finance Director of Global Business Planning. This role will include heavy collaboration with the FP&A Team ensuring alignment and transparency across the planning landmarks as well as key functional leaders across the company. You will have exposure to Leadership throughout the key planning gates and through quarterly touch bases.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related field with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 6+ years of experience leading operating budget, financial analysis, and/or P&L management showing growing progression of responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to develop the “story” and form recommendations
- Proven track record to complete quantitative/qualitative analysis and financial modeling
- Balance multiple, results-oriented priorities and maintain strong organization skills
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint / Keynote
- Results-oriented, high energy self-starter with ability to lead through ambiguity in a dynamic environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
- Self starter with a positive attitude and desire to drive operational results
