Job Location: This position is a hybrid role for candidates in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, LA, or San Diego, CA. Full-time remote candidates will also be considered.
Key responsibilities:
Overseeing a team of associates that function as the quarterbacks for guiding new advisors through the entire transition process, as well as helping internal advisors move across affiliation models
Identifying and coordinating trainings with various departments for new advisors and their staff
Answering questions on a wide variety of topics-such as operational tasks, branding, compliance, and wealth management-and developing a good understanding of LPL, Fidelity-NFS & IWS, Raymond James and Schwab custodians.
Overseeing the creation of a personalized transition timeline for each advisor’s office, ensuring a smooth transition of the advisor’s book of business
Working in tandem with other departments and teammates to facilitate a successful transition and a great experience
Acting as an escalation point of escalation for new advisors and their staff
Staying abreast of new resources, products, and procedures, as well as industry news and regulations affecting fee-only practices
Serving as a lead presenter for home office visits to discuss all details of a fee-only or RIA transition
Coordinating and assigning internal and external resources for new teams
Hosting internal transition calls with all departments to ensure timely completion of new teams
Lead mid-level to large projects, with varying degrees of complexity. Lead onsite support at advisor offices for mid-level to large breakaways or conversions; assist with various pre-planning and execution tasks throughout the conversion. Lead and coordinate second and third seat onsite team members.
Train, mentor, and coach new team members

Experience Needed:
Series 7 required, and Series 24 is highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years in financial services industry. Including experience in the institutional or high net worth client management or relationship building role
Strong knowledge of the FI business segments, understanding of the industry, financial markets, and competitor influences
Experience with a full breadth of investment solutions, products and services provided to Fidelity clients
Experience with Raymond James, Schwab, Fidelity or LPL Clearing preferred
Experience with wirehouse to RIA advisor transitions required
Skill in operating various office and software programs (i.e., Microsoft Office, Orion, Salesforce and/or Redtail CRM, Project Management systems)
FBI background check required
Ability to develop professional relationships and maintain confidentiality
Ability to investigate, research, and resolve problems
Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks within established timeframes
Ability to pay close attention to detail, work under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines

Strong Project Management skills and analytical skills
Solid understanding of securities regulation SRO rules and standard industry policies and procedures
Solid understanding of Fidelity brokerage policy and procedures
Executive presence and comfort managing “C” level conversations
Ability to travel 10% amount of the time
Salary: $110,000 – $145,000
