Position Summary
This position will work with the Variable Distribution Expense (VDE), Fixed Distribution Expense (FDE), and Distribution allowance finance teams to understand and interpret financial results. This Analyst will then communicate those results and impactors to supported businesses (Baking, Nestle Coffee Partners, Nestle Professional, Nestle Health Science, Nutrition and Global Brands).
In this role, the Analyst will attend monthly financial reviews with supported businesses to present financial results and prepare bridges / ad-hoc analysis to concisely illustrate impactors to financials. This individual will develop an understanding of the unique drivers of each business and ensure financial accuracy.
This role will require managing multiple stakeholders from businesses across all of US16. It offers direct visibility to division leadership in those businesses that the role supports. The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Gain broad understanding of Supply Chain costs by supporting the Divisions / OpCos in the Ambient network (Baking, Nestle Coffee Partners, Nestle Professional, Nestle Health Science, Nutrition and Global Brands)
Load operational forecast for Variable Distribution Expense (VDE), Fixed Distribution Expense (FDE), Distribution Allowance, and Surcharges for supported businesses on monthly / quarterly basis.
Work with Supply Chain finance counterparts to align on key drivers for VDE, FDE, and Distribution Allowance as part of period end close and forecast process.
Prepare month end and forecast commentaries and bridges. Present on key drivers of variances to Division / OpCo Financial Leadership
Work with Costing Center of Competence to understand how systematic allocations calculate and impact each business
Develop tools and reporting to enhance period end close and forecasting processes.
Partner with stakeholders to understand Supply Chain impacts of business decisions.
Assist in period end close reporting and prepare/review journal entries as needed.
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economic, Business or a related field
Proven track record working in cross-functional teams
Experienced in communication with peers and senior management
Analysis, forecasting, budgeting experience
Supply Chain knowledge a plus
Effectively handles pressures and demands of multiple customers and competing priorities
Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Essbase / Dodeca experience a plus
