Position Summary
This position offers the right person a unique opportunity to provide financial oversight of all channels within Nestle Food Service business, as well as playing a key role in the future-state design of management systems, analytics, and processes regarding sales finance. Financial oversight includes detailed event level planning, trade accounting areas such as balance sheet and trade rate reconciliation, forecasting, reporting, and ad-hoc customer analysis, with an emphasis on maintaining sound financial controls around trade budget and spending. The successful individual will have a strong finance or accounting background, superior communication and people skills, ability to learn quickly, a solid understanding of food service (or another FMCG/CPG business) and the ability to deliver high performance work both within a team and independently. The Key Performance indicators are sales volume, organic growth, trade spend (PL and Balance Sheet effects).
The key quality indicators are trade management and forecasting, balance sheet reconciliation, and Net Net Sale.
Primary Responsibilities:
Forecast NP overview and preparation
Detailed analysis on variances in Dynamic Forecast and actuals
Balance Sheet reconciliation – monthly tracking and provide analysis
Taking broker commissions analysis and entries
Drive PEC (Period End Close) process supporting Sales Finance Managers
Preparing monthly presentations for Finance, about forecast and landing; overall rates, main variances
Business Reviews
Meet with CAMs/ Sales Directors to understand variances to goals, on both sales and trade. Communicate results and work with CAMs to develop solutions for driving sales or for adjusting trade activities to ensure goals are met.
Trade and Ad-hoc Analysis
Review sales and trade rate objectives (via weekly reports) to analyze and provide variance explanation, including understanding implications on customer profitability.
Review Unauthorized Deductions and work closely with CAMs to enable payback.
Perform financial modeling and scenario planning to analyze overall business results and opportunities.
Challenge Sale Finance manager trade opportunities/risks
Provide insight to improve forecasting accuracy.
Business Processes and Integration
Drive efficiency and accuracy in annual planning process.
Automate manual data processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
5+ years of work experience in finance management, preferably in Consumer Goods company/industry
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and the ability to combine multiple data sets, macros
SAP or other ERP System experience preferred, Exceedra
Previous experience with sales analysis, trade fund management a plus

Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills.
Superior execution skills in a changing environment and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong data management and analytical skills, and critically important to be able to deliver the message to non-finance professionals.
Self-starter and shows initiative and quickly learns the specifics of the customer and sales finance.
Customer Profitability concepts and the use of customer P&Ls to drive business decisions.
Demonstrable experience illustrating insights from data through statistics or data visualization.
