POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting jointly to the CFO Vital Proteins (Operations Controller) and VP Operations Finance (Capex Lead), the Operations Finance Director will be the key partner for the COO and Factory Leadership on operational and financial strategies and activities to achieve functional performance goals. You will create cost improvement strategies, risk management and financial KPI delivery for the Factory. You will create a highly value-add modeling and forecasting infrastructure and provide actionable recommendations from data insights to cross-collaborate with the Factory and Distribution teams. This position would also partner closely with Corporate FP&A and non-finance operations counterparts. As Capex lead, you will own and drive the annual capital process across the business units for NHSc US. This position will be the single point of contact to the NHSc US Chief Engineer to be accountable for and manage the annual capital envelope. You will partner with the business units’ finance and factory teams to build the capital financial models required to support the key strategic projects to help drive the business forward and achieve our Revenue and COP1 targets. As part of this role, you will manage one direct report (capex finance manager) and indirect Major Capex project controllers (dedicated controller for project > $10 mio).
