NBCUniversal Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal’s full advertising technology suite.
From product management to program management, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal’s $9B+ annual advertising business.

The Technology Transformation team within Advertising Platforms & Operations (AP&O) oversees strategic projects and programs to support business priorities for NBCU’s Global Advertising & Partnerships organization and manages organizational workflow standards and governance to ensure efficient product delivery.
We are currently seeking a Project Manager on the PMO Analytics – Tech Transformation team to manage and govern Ad Platforms & Operations budget tracking.
This role requires collaboration with external vendors and partners, as well as internal stakeholders across the NBCU’s Advertising & Partnerships organization (Sales, Sales Strategy, Finance, and Measurement), as well as Operations & Technology.
Job Purpose
The Project Manager will take an active role in helping to improve and modernize our tools, data models & workflow processes that will be transformative to how we operate.
This role will interface with multiple teams across the organization, offering a great opportunity to learn while building relationships and contributing to key strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities include helping to establish a centralized budget and contracts process, contribute to the annual budget forecasting and planning cycle, and interact with various partners and vendors to track usage and drive efficiencies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Budget Stewardship (70%)
Collaborate across multiple stakeholders to ensure rigorous tracking of all budget updates to planned spend
Escalate overages or other issues to leadership and / or finance
Support monthly and quarterly tracking through accurate pacing
Contribute to the annual finance planning process & forecasting cycle
Regularly communicate budget status updates to leadership
Interface with various Ad Sales teams and 3rd party vendors, partners on payment status
Vendor & Tool Operations (30%)
Maintain documentation of all vendor contracts, renewal dates, and tool offerings
Track usage of systems and vendors to create efficient recommendations
Assist in developing a repository / tracking system for all vendor relationships
Provide support to the Sr. Director, Tech Transformation where necessary
