Position Summary
The Vice President (VP) of Revenue is responsible for executing defined revenue generation, maximization and analysis initiatives through careful consideration of specific service offerings and company-wide objectives. The VP leads strategic execution of effective systems that can scale with rapid operational expansion. Strategic resource planning, Real Time performance analysis and revenue innovation are critical for success. The VP provides comprehensive oversight of revenue operations including daily administrative functions and long-term growth initiatives. The VP lends critical support in key areas such as staffing and personnel management in addition to ensuring processes are both sound and standardized. This unique leadership position requires a self-directed, dynamic, inspirational leader who will spearhead all revenue-related activities for all MY DR NOW service lines.
Essential Functions
Demonstrates proficient knowledge of and unwavering support for MY DR NOW mission and values.
Fully understands the internal processes of the company and develops institutional knowledge.
Coordinates efforts with other departments and leadership team; ensures alignment of strategy and objectives.
Ensures daily operations are in line with long-term, big picture growth and volume optimization.
Designs, implements, and maintains efficient processes, policies and systems that are replicated consistently throughout all service lines and able to scale with future growth.
Thoroughly knows and understands the policies, procedures, protocols, and MY DR NOW strategic initiatives; ensures that staff are properly informed and trained on these subjects.
Promotes success of company-wide objectives including but not limited to maximizing all value-based care opportunities.
Develops and nurtures relationships with third-party payors and other strategic partners by continuously reinforcing company commitment to defined objectives and providing assurance of process excellence.
Negotiates and maintains optimal value-based payor agreements and fee-for-service contracts.
In-depth knowledge of risk-adjustment models as well as Hierarchal Condition Category (HCC) and CPT Category II coding guidelines
Creates systems that leverage coding expertise to support optimal fee-for-service reimbursement, value-based care incentive collection, and accurate Risk Adjustment Factor (RAF) scoring.
Creates systems to prevent and detect revenue cycle irregularities and deficiencies in real-time; reports revenue cycle concerns promptly and supported by effective solutions.
Makes recommendations for interdepartmental process improvement; understands company-wide impact of all revenue-related operations and strives for ridiculously easy solutions throughout.
Ensures optimal patient financial experience and strives to improve all patient-facing operations relative to the revenue cycle process.
Ensures patient financial concerns are always addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Ensure all communications are clear, concise, efficient and effective; disseminates information accurately within relevant team(s) and across all stakeholders.
Monitors all revenue cycle personnel including staffing, training, scheduling and ongoing performance oversight.
Maintains appropriate staffing levels to ensure revenue cycle operations run optimally.
Maintains thorough knowledge of daily tasks for all direct reports to provide back up for supervised positions when necessary.
Makes every effort to retain quality Team Members.
Creates, analyzes and presents data and reports relevant to strategic revenue cycle operations.
Report metrics and critical KPI’s in a manner which supports efficient decision making and trend analysis.
Identifies and appropriately communicates potential areas of liability.
Maintains regulatory compliance with all Federal and State licensure and/or related programs by monitoring activity, maintaining records, and representing the organization as needed.
Assess and maintain operations in a manner that contributes to MY DR NOW’s bottom line.
Maintains personal professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest industry trends.
Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive information.
Available to participate in on-call assignments and Team Member meetings.
Performs the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, standing or sitting for long periods of time.
Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or equivalent experience.
5+ years executive experience for innovative industry leaders or other high-growth financial platforms.
Work Environment
This job operates in a work environment that may be moderately noisy, fast paced, and rapidly changing. Team Member may be exposed to potentially contagious diseases as well as the effects of injuries and accidents. Team Member must be able to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor.
Physical Demands
This position will require long periods of sitting including some bending, stooping, grabbing, typing, squatting, and reaching. The Team Member may occasionally need to lift up to 50 pounds. Team Member will need to routinely use close vision, distance vision, and shift focus rapidly. This position also requires extensive use of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for typing.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as position duties demand.
Travel
Required to travel between various locations and off-site meetings as job duties demand.
