Reporting Accountant
Summary:
Prepares regulatory filings on a quarterly and annual basis in accordance with Statutory Accounting Principles, including notes to financial statement and compete additional exhibits and supplements as required by regulatory agency.
- Analyze and document revenue and expenditure trends and variances in account balances between periods working with both internal and external resources to research variances.
- Perf Perform general ledger functions to assist with monthly accounting activity and closings.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to the general ledger including proactively detecting, researching, and resolving reconciliation items.
- Keep up to date on regulatory changes and reporting requirements
- Work with Sr. Leadership to communicate changes to current or future regulatory reporting requirements.
- Work with other teams to provide innovative approaches for continued improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory reporting.
- Perform and support various projects as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum Education:
- BA or BS in Accounting or equivalent related business experience
Minimum Experience:
- Prior accounting experience.
- Healthcare experience desired
- Statutory Reporting experience preferred
