Position Summary:
The Manager of Finance is accountable for the financial leadership and financial management for the Health System, reporting directly to the System CFO of Operations. The Manager of Finance optimizes the financial and operational performance; achieves organizational objectives and strategic goals; leads efforts to improve operations and monitor metrics, including staffing, labor productivity, overtime, and serves as a key resource to monitor budget variances. The incumbent partners with clinical and operational leaders to provide guidance and share financial talent to maximize on financial opportunities; identifies opportunities for improvement and leads the execution of financial improvement initiatives – translating financial targets into actionable operating objectives. The incumbent is also expected to train and grow their skills in operations and leadership to be promotable to Director or other progressive finance leadership positions.
Minimum Requirements:
Six (6) years of progressively responsible finance experience in a healthcare environment
Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required
Master’s degree preferred
