MUFG’s Project Finance Team:
MUFG is an expert in project finance, supporting clients in acquiring, building, or recapitalizing assets in the power, energy, natural resources, transportation, social infrastructure, and digital infrastructure sectors.
We have one of the most active project finance businesses in the world and have consistently been ranked the #1 overall project finance bank the Americas since 2009.
The project finance team comprises approximately 70 individuals who actively originate, structure, and execute debt project financing transactions.
Project finance transactions include bank loan arranging, senior notes placement or bookrunning, institutional loan bookrunning, and project finance advisory services.
Transactions often also involve interest rate and currency derivatives.
The team works closely with dedicated partners in MUFG’s debt capital markets and global markets teams to seamlessly deliver debt financing and risk management solutions for clients across markets.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform complex administrative duties involving frequent exercise of independent judgment, initiative, diplomacy, and tact in support for Managing Directors/team support.
Major Responsibilities:
Screen telephone calls and determine which can be handled by other areas of the bank
Answer complex inquiries which require thorough knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
Provide support to the department staff
Distribute daily mail, perform related duties, and participate in special projects as required by Managing Director
Combine and distribute weekly analyst and associate workflow, update sponsorship list
Manage new hire request and onboarding
Provide support to other staff members when completing expense s
Compose written communication within the bank
Qualifications:
Requires the ability to create spreadsheets
Develop and maintain filing system
Receive and greet incoming visitors in a professional manner
Direct them to the proper individual and assist them with their needs
Respond to inquiries received internally and externally by mail, which may involve communicating with high level management both verbally and in written form.
Perform administrative functions such as ordering department supplies, coordinating equipment repair, completing expense s, and making department staff travel arrangements, etc.
Process and coordinate department accounts payables billing
Additional Information:
Minimum of 8-10 year in administrative support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Strong organizational skills
High degree of attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
