Job Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership skills, have a track record of process improvement, operations experience, and possess a strong knowledge of the Private Equity industry. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively across departments. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Operations and will manage the Financial Reporting Analysts. The function will work directly with client service and investment valuations review team as stakeholders in business functions. A partial list of responsibilities and skills is below.
Detailed Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Manage FRA team to ensure timely and accurate daily, weekly and quarterly client deliverables
Evaluate and extract data from financial statements to complete a deliver information to variety of clients
Ensure appropriate procedures and controls exist for operational processes
Drive operational improvements through process and technology initiatives
Managing and monitoring KPIs to measure team progress as well as identify training and process improvement areas
Organize large data sets in order to identify trends for process improvement
Provide support to Senior Manager to facilitate interdepartmental cooperation
Manage 6-10 people
Coach, mentor and develop staff to meet organizational goals and deliverables
Prepare and maintain goals and career development plans for direct reports including semi-annual performance appraisals
Oversee the coordination and implementation of strategic initiatives, policies and guidelines as it relates to local practices.
