POSITION

This position will oversee accounting functions, ensure compliance with internal and external reporting guidelines, annual budget process including standards development, develop budgets and forecasts for short and long term planning, and provide analysis to support corporate decision making.

1. Oversee accounting functions, including but not limited to intercompany accounting, Sales & Use Tax, financial reporting, financial and bank audits, fixed assets, capital spending, Accounts Payables, and Accounts Receivables
2. Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting guidelines
3. Prepare and review functional budgets and direct the annual budgeting process

4. Develop forecasts and budgets for short and long term planning
5. Provide analysis to support corporate decision-making
6. Bank reconciliation and wire approvals
7. Financial reporting
8. Consolidations between Canada and US operations
9. Respond to parent company inquiries and reporting and audit requests as priority
10. Direct the efforts of all accounting employees
11. Other duties as assigned
EXPERTISE REQUIRED/MINIMUM
Qualifications:

1. Bachelor‚„s Degree in Accounting or Finance required with MBA preferred
2. CPA certification required and CMA certification desirable
3. 10 years in accounting including expertise in Canada and US operations with at least 5 years in a management role
4. High level of proficiency using PC spreadsheets and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
5. JDE EnterpriseOne experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment:
