The Director, Product Marketing & Strategy will contribute to our continued success and help expand Mission Square’s institutional and consultant client base. The Director, Product Marketing & Strategy will partner with (Institutional, Product Strategy and Investment Management heads) to develop product marketing strategies and programs to support sales, acquire new clients and drive retention and growth. Essential Functions for this role include: Lead and implement product specific marketing programs in support of enterprise initiatives. Lead the development of campaigns, marketing materials, events, and communications to engage and educate prospective and current clients regarding MissionSquare Retirement’s retirement products and services (recordkeeping, investment advice, research, financial education, and planning). Select and implement data driven multichannel programs, to drive opportunities for sales, raise our profile and help improve sales performance, as well as provide leadership for the following marketing functions: Institutional Product Marketing €“ the development institutional focused communications to promote products and investment strategies to reach and engage opportunity segments. Content Strategy €“ develop product content tailored for institutional plan sponsors and consultants. This includes the content marketing plan to support communications through webinars, thought leadership, investment product marketing materials and market outlooks. Campaign Execution €“ the design, execution and measurement of outcome-focused marketing and communications campaigns to promote MissionSquare services to institutional clients and consultants. Other duties as assigned. If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply: 7 years of relevant work experience as a strategic product and channel marketing leader in financial services, emphasis on wealth management, retirement marketing in the investment management space. MBA/MA or equivalent experience, Marketing, Communications, or similar relevant field, preferred Understanding of the dynamics of the public sector, 457 and 403b recordkeeping and fund distribution, financial advice marketplace and its participants €“ their business practices and decision-making processes. Demonstrated expertise in B to B investment product and channel marketing focused on marketing retirement investment products to government and institutional clients. Confident and collaborative developer of marketing campaigns and messaging for plan sponsors and participants in the public sector. Exceptional planning, team management, and communication skills. Experienced working against firm deadlines. Detail-oriented to ensure polished client communications. Ability to collaborate with peers and lead a team to manage multi-channel programs and content development targeting institutional, consultant and participant client segments. Proven success in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment that values thoughtful strategy, high-quality execution, and continual improvement. Demonstrated strategic leadership and creativity. Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, Investment product marketing, lead scoring and performance management. Experience working in a regulated environment.
