We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager **to join our Finance Team. This is a Hybrid position based in Orlando!
About The Role
As Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you will lead insight and reporting to support the Midway North America (MNA) Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to deliver strategic objectives for the division: Bring analysis to the heart of Midway North America. Using our data to investigate & interrogate to give insight to the drivers of performance using KPIs, statistical techniques, graphs, & commentary. Be a key driver of moving our reporting from Excel to PowerBI and latest data analyst tools. Preparation of the financial elements of our Business Review presentations to Senior Leadership. Drive business improvement in partnership with the SLT through data driven analysis and insight, particularly in growing revenue streams through increasing yields, RPCs, understanding commercial opportunities and assessing capex investment. Responsible for Midway North America revenue reporting, ensuring reports are focused on our strategic KPIs and meet user needs. Manage Midway North America budgets, forecasts, business plans, capex through planning & delivery. Influencing rounded business solutions with insight and bringing numbers to life with confidence. Role model within the business and custodian of the Merlin Way, demonstrating our key values, taking ownership, driving innovation and ensuring we do it all for the love of Fun.
Occasional travel to Midway North America Attractions. Sunday working is required, with time in lieu.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, design and develop MNA revenue reporting focused on our strategic KPIs, transitioning the division from Excel to PowerBI.
- Ensure revenue reporting is robust and that there is ‘one version of the truth’, be the Division superuser for our revenue system TM1.
- Prepare the finance elements of our business review presentations, bring the numbers to life, and give insight driven commentary.
- Manage Midway North America budgets, forecasts, business plans, capex through planning & delivery. Builds tools to support budgeting and review, support the Vice President Finance in presentation of plans.
- Provide financial modelling and appraisal of our capex investment projects, support delivering board papers.
- Prepare weekly commentary of our revenue performance on behalf of the Divisional Director.
- Support Vice President Finance by producing complex / bespoke analysis that requires sound business acumen and understanding of business trends.
- Produce reporting for our key vendor partners, for example for our photo and VR partners, that is robust and accurate. Assess their performance and identify areas of opportunity.
- Support division revenue management strategy to identify areas of opportunity in pricing, yield and ticket hierarchy of sales.
- Work with Marketing Director and Customer Insight Manager to match internal and external data to drive with the marketing team correct marketing activity to maximize demand and yield objectives.

*Experience & Qualification*
- Qualified finance professional desired;
o US: – CPA, MBA qualification or equivalent
o UK: – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or US: – CPA, MBA qualification
- 3yrs+ experience within a Commercial Finance role;
- Knowledge of PowerBI and Data Analytic tools
- Experience of running and performing budgeting or forecasting processes;
- Providing financial support that drives the commercial decisions;
- Experience in a consumer facing organization with a continuous improvement agenda;
- Excellent analytical ability with a good attention to detail;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present plans to support business decisions, to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
