Finance Manager role in CREW (Customer Repair Experience & Warranty) Finance team could be the right opportunity for you. The CREW Team is responsible for, among other things, delivering repair experiences at right performance levels (Return for exchange, Same Unit Repair, In-Field Repair models), enabling sales growth though Complete and Out of Warranty sales, and leading the industry in repairability and sustainability efforts with our future product roadmap.
The Devices CREW Finance team is looking for a supply chain finance expert to manage and develop returns cost ing, analysis and financial modeling for Surface and XBOX products. This work will be done in close partnership with the CREW finance team both for existing and new generation product programs. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and able to independently partner across teams, a proven self-starter with strong financial modeling and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding communication skills and be very comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Specific focus areas will include:

• Build and foster trusted and sustainable relationships with a wide set of stakeholders by being a collaborative partner who can listen, on board different perspectives and deliver on its commitments
• Advise on financial impact of various alternatives and recommend preferred course of action to drive business decisions. Provide insight into key cost drivers through monthly financial analysis and ing.
• Drive development in tools, processes and methods used for repair & returns financial planning & analysis, financial modelling, and actual ing.
• Cross functional collaboration with Accounting, CREW operations and Finance to enable predictable and accurate end to end view.
• Focus on continuous improvement to drive finance process enhancements, and ensure robust documentation exists in own area cross functionally across accounting, finance, and operations.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
• OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field
• OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively manage projects and multiple tasks at the same time, have excellent attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines.
• Familiarity with MS Finance and supply chain tools and processes a plus.
• Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Must be collaborative and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple organization and creating effective internal business partnerships.
