As one of the core growth pillars in the broader Microsoft consumer strategy, SANE services and products reach over 600M users each month. SANE is the monetization engine behind some of the most visited websites in the world including Bing and Microsoft News (MSN) and digital advertising on Xbox, Outlook and others as well as support for Microsoft 1 st party browsers. The Finance team provides end-to-end support of the Bing, Bing Affiliate, MS News, and Native/Display Advertising. The team provides product analysis, forecasting, target setting, performance management and planning. We aim to be the trusted advisors to the various Product and Engineering groups in driving key business decisions. We also partner closely with the business development team to provide deal modeling and guidance across the entire MSFT publisher portfolio.

The Microsoft SANE Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a skilled finance professional. We are looking for a self-starting individual with a strong driver for partnership, analysis, and great communication skills to take on a high impact role.

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for analysis, insights, ROI, and partnering with engineering, business planning and marketing teams to drive deep analysis and develop/enable strategy to grow revenue. The ideal candidate will be able to dive into the details of and understand the key drivers as well as communicate results/drivers to business partners including executives.

Responsibilities

• Financial and business P&L performance management growing net revenue and margin as defined in fiscal year target goals

• Financial reporting as needed

• ROB such as target setting, budgeting, forecasting, scorecards, quarterly/monthly reporting

• Financial modeling, scenario analysis, and opportunity sizing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience, with focus on delivering strategic projects a plus

• Experience forming cross-group and cross-functional partnerships to achieve goals

• Experience with business partnering to help drive business outcomes

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves rapidly

• Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way

• Bachelor’s degree/MBA a plus
