The Manager – Supply Chain Finance will be responsible for providing analysis, insight and direction on the company’s past and future financial performance. This position will be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of financial trends requiring management’s attention and will pro-actively manage and coordinate the forecast, annual planning and management reporting processes. This position directly supports our internal departments and plays a key leading role in many high-profile initiatives related to inventory management, transportation expenses and the distribution centers. The successful candidate will have extremely strong analytical, communication and financial modeling skills with a diverse background in that includes experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, business case development and presentation preparation.
Major Activities
Drive completion of accurate monthly forecasts, the annual plan and capital expenditures, including managing the timeliness of inputs and outputs, developing set assumptions and understanding the business drivers behind financial trends and outcomes.
Manage business partner meetings and relationships to ensure accurate forecasting, appropriate cost control and insightful business understanding.
Develop reporting and analyses for Executive Presentations
Originate and develop analyses to help executives better understand financial trends and financial opportunities (e.g., cost savings, business development, etc.); leverage analyses to ensure that the company meets its financial expectations and that executives are aligned with financial results.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analysis, where possible; drive value through the development and implementation of tools that allow for increased, efficient analytical capabilities and that allow executives to understand key financial issues in a timely and effective manner.
Assist in the development of the key assumptions and drivers for the annual plan and monthly forecasting.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Special Certifications or technical skills
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
Excellent spreadsheet skills required along with strong financial and data management acumen
Ability to interpret complex financial drivers and create/simplify related forecasting models
Minimum Type of experience the job requires
6+years of work experience in Finance or Accounting with progressively increasing responsibilities
Working knowledge of accounting and finance principles
Significant work experience in similar role (financial modeling, business case development, capital planning)
Preferred Education
MBA strongly desired
Preferred Type of experience the job requires
Experience with Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Enterprise a plus
