Meta Looking for Program Manager, Finance – Global Data Center Connectivity at Fremont, CA Full Time

In this role with the Global Data Center Connectivity (GDCC) Team, you will work closely with our GDCC internal teams and various cross functional departments, including Data Center Analytics, Procurement, Site Project Management, and Finance to support all aspects of project cost modeling, management, and financial forecasting for Facebook’s growing Data Center Construction team. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills are a must in this highly collaborative role. This is a full-time role based in our headquarters and includes regular travel to our global data center locations.

Partner with internal teams to prepare and manage monthly financial reports to submit it to management and leadership

Execute IDC quarterly strategic planning (QSP) cycle to project capital and operational spend for next five years

Collaborate with cross functional partners to understand the schedule shifts and impacts on project financials

Partner with global business partners and site teams to understand existing systems and reporting requirements

Provide hands-on program management support on process and enterprise level system rollout

Demonstrate strong understanding of the supported domain and conduct deep analysis of the problem space. Define process end-to-end and drive improvements for maximum impact

Develop cost model algorithms to forecast 5-10 years spend for Facebook data center

Collect, analyze, and present data (e.g. performance metrics) to enable informed decisions

Build relationships, gain consensus, remove roadblocks, and focus on the solution

Up to 10% travel to various Facebook sites and Data Centers (including international travel)

Strong technical understanding of financial databases, data modelling (Extract, Transform, Load), queries

8+ years of industry experience in program/project management

Experience influencing stakeholders and partner teams. Experience collaborating with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies

Fluent in support system architecture & process modeling

Proficient with project controls systems and processes (Scheduling, Cost Controls, Forecasting, Gap Analysis, etc.)
