This position is responsible for providing financial support to the organization including overseeing balance sheet review and account reconciliation process to ensure balance sheet integrity, coordinating the preparation of internal and external financial statements, and coordinating the annual audit. This position will assist the department manager in the coordination of project assignments and provide technical review/assistance on projects prepared by department coworkers. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications: Experience: Position requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years accounting and financial analysis experience. Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university. Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance Preferred Experience: Healthcare financial analysis and reporting experience. Lawson ERP financial system experience Licensure: CPA preferred.
