Summary:
Serves as Vice President and oversees accounting, internal and external financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, financial planning, budgeting, annual external audit and ongoing adherence to budget as well as policies and practices in collaboration with executive leadership.
Detailed responsibilities:
Serves in a leadership role and participates in development of the organization’s vision, policies and short/long-term objectives.
Participates on Board Committees as assigned.
Directs/manages the system’s accounting, budgeting, audit controls/ standards/activities and statistical reporting as well as the Accounts Payable and Payroll functions.
Supports the organization’s strategic planning activities via financial estimates and ongoing monitoring.
Monitors the cost effectiveness of MHS monthly, meets with executive leadership, and communicates needed information to facility leadership.
Serves as liaison for financial matters to executive leadership, management, financial institutions and regulatory agencies.
