We’re looking for a Pricing Manager to join our team to develop and implement pricing strategies across the company. The role will touch upon all pricing efforts for our Core, Software as a Service product line and ESG Data API product line. The role responsibilities include developing new pricing strategies, analyzing and forecasting pricing impacts, optimizing existing pricing to maximize customer growth and retention, and operational pricing execution. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working with product usage insights, pricing, and revenue data, then creating, modeling and enacting strategies from it. You have experience researching, developing, testing, and launching pricing models in SaaS and recurring revenue contexts. You are passionate about optimizing revenue streams and have a knack for pricing impact analysis and forecasting. This role will be remote, reporting to the Director of Product Management in the Product organization.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed:
Research, propose, and test pricing strategies that will optimize customer conversion rates, reduce churn, and maximize revenue growth.
Analyze packaging, bundling and add-on opportunities to provide guidance on balancing revenue vs adoption through these levers.
Collaborate cross-functionally to test and implement proposed business models, pricing, and packaging structures.
Monitor competitive solutions for trends or patterns that could affect current pricing strategy.
Identify areas for pricing improvement and develop tests to validate and forecast improvement outcomes.
Establish and design scalable and reusable price testing models; validate pricing hypotheses through ongoing model testing.

Education & Experience:

8 years of relevant pricing or financial analysis experience, preferably in SaaS organizations with B2B experience.
Experience partnering with Product Managers, Marketing, Finance, and Account Management stakeholders to drive and implement pricing strategies.
Able to synthesize complex data and infer meaningful trends and insights.
Experience presenting concepts and recommendations to various business stakeholders.
Comfortable defining and launching new pricing strategies.
Experience using mathematical models on internal and external data sets.
Track record of recognizing and reporting on internal and industry trends.
Familiarity with analytics, database access and reporting tools is ideal but not required.
