Opportunity and Qualifications:
We are currently seeking Tax Professionals (Staff, Senior, Manager and Senior Manager levels) to join our Wooster Office.
The Tax Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for developing appropriate skills in applying accounting and tax theory and principles. Incumbents in this position participate in a wide variety of accounting and tax assignments under the guidance and supervision of more experienced professionals. Tax staff accountants are expected to develop a technical knowledge base while observing how to apply that knowledge in a professional environment.
The Tax Senior Accountant is a key member of the professional client service team and participates in tax engagements. The Tax Senior Accountant has primary responsibility for carrying out all fieldwork during a tax engagement while beginning to establish closer working relationships with client management and developing supervisory knowledge and experience.
The Tax Manager or Senior Manager is responsible for most facets of client engagements, which includes managing engagements and client relationships, taking responsibility to assure timely completion of client deliverables, supervising managers and senior staff, business development, and billing. The Tax Manager or Senior Manager assumes increased responsibility to handle larger and more complex client assignments.
To be considered for this Tax Staff position, Candidates must:
Hold a Bachelor or advanced degree in Accounting.
Possess 1 – 2 years of relevant experience.
Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Be actively pursuing their CPA designation.
Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) as well as basic knowledge of operating systems.
Be self-motivated and willing to work in a team environment.
To be considered for this Tax Senior position, Candidates must:
Hold a Bachelor or advanced degree in Accounting.
Possess 3-6 years public accounting experience.
Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Be actively pursuing their CPA designation.
Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) as well as basic knowledge of operating systems.
Be self-motivated and willing to work in a team environment.
To be considered for the Tax Manager and Senior Manager positions, candidates must:
Have CPA.
Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) as well as basic knowledge of operating systems.
Have a minimum 6 – 8 years related experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrate an aptitude in the following:Quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
