McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing is looking for an ambitious Marketing Representative who will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of our marketing strategy and specific projects related to our overall business strategy. You will focus on creating, implementing and tracking trends for external digital marketing campaigns across various channels and platforms, with a focus on social media, as well as assisting with event planning and execution, implementing new marketing technology tools and developing internal communication materials for the sales team. To be successful in this position, you must be highly self-motivated, proactive and have a working knowledge of current marketing tools and trends.
This role will require a qualified candidate to be located near our Dodge Center, MN facility.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Implementing and executing marketing plans and strategy
Conducting data analysis and voice of customer research to establish trends and habits, especially with social media
Establishing goals and objectives to reach customers through appropriate marketing channels
Promoting brand awareness and maintaining strong brand reputation through marketing efforts
Creating marketing materials for the website, social media and other marketing platforms
Supporting the Marketing Manager with activities including brand campaigns, social media, event and tradeshow planning, sales enablement, and product launches.
Assisting with the analyses of marketing data, including competitor research, campaign results, conversion rates, and website and app traffic in order to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
Other marketing projects as determined by the Marketing Manager
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
Two (2) to Four (4) years of relevant experience.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration (MBA).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator) or comparable design software, as well as CRM and CMS programs.
Exposure to media markets and multicultural engagement.
Graphic design experience.
Prior experience with social media channels for marketing engagement (i.e. Google analytics, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Strong writing and editing skills.
Background in business writing, journalism, copy editing and/or original writing.
Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency using business software including Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of and experience with marketing technology software and tools.
Working knowledge of HTML
