Position Description The Senior Finance Director supporting Product Strategy and Supplier Partnership (PSSP) is a key member of the McKesson Medical-Surgical Finance organization.
The role will focus on business partnerships with members of the overall organization to assist in meeting financial goals and evolve reporting to manage the company’s financial health.
This leader will drive collaboration and employee engagement and ensure organizational change is well coordinated and understood.
The role ensures that strategies are appropriately reflected in company budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning and most importantly, provide value-added analysis and insights which drive sound decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Lead, coordinate and own PSSP annual financial plan, forecast, and management reporting.
Provide financial variance analyses to business partners to enable decision making.
Provide strategic decision support, scenario planning, and risk and opportunity analysis to achieve long range financial goals.
Build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to the PSSP organization and other MMS teams.
Collaborate and work with accounting group and create a synergized partnership to ensure month-end close and accurate accounting for all areas of the business.
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, managing a team of 8 with two senior managers Improve employee engagement with a focus on developing a collaborative environment across the Finance organization.
Ensure high quality employee attraction and development at all levels, building bench strength through modeling of ICARE/ILDEAD.

Qualifications:
10 years of successful progressive Finance experience required Ability to influence and partner effectively with Executive-level Leaders across the organization Firm grasp of corporate finance concepts, practices, and tools Experience leading OR managing budget/forecast Excellent business-savvy with a consultative approach; ability to influence and collaborate with senior level leaders across organizational lines.
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to manage, triage, and prioritize multiple priorities from different stakeholders.
Ability to problem solve independently.
Ability to respond to changing environment, agility in mindset and approach.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable developing clear and insightful presentations and speaking in front of the general company and executive leadership.
Willing to challenge common assumptions.
Eager to pitch in and assist as necessary to help the team accomplish functional and corporate goals.
Strong sense of drive and initiative.
Education:

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson.
This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets.
In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
