How can you make an impact?
The Finance Manager functions as a business partner and provides financial and business decision support for the company. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Finance Manager will be focused on managing the month/quarter/year end close process including, but not limited to, providing consolidated variance analysis across a multitude of Corporate Operations.
What you’ll be doing:
Monthly and Quarterly Close Process – preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting packages to include management reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive-level explanations of differences. Develop thorough analysis and explanation of variance drivers, both financial and operational, and impact from various sales, product, and operational excellence. Prepare analysis, commentary and presentation material for monthly, quarterly financial review meetings, Board meetings (quarterly and annual) and earning presentations.
Financial Planning – Lead financial modeling analysis to support the development of long-term strategic plan. This includes P&L (EBITDA and NOI), balance sheet, Net Income, cash flow, key metrics, and ad hoc analysis as required.
Financial Business Support – Working as a business partner to provide financial support for business units and Corporate Departments (Tax, Controllers, Strategy, DPG, Treasury, etc), develop and maintain TM1 reporting structures, lead efforts to streamline existing reports and processes, liaise with business units to harmonize key indicators and financial metrics, lead annual recast process, support quarterly external reporting, and maintain strong working partnerships with the finance and accounting teams across the company.
Special Projects – Ad hoc items that may arise throughout our fiscal year relating to Corporate, FP&A, and overall company related requests.
Documentation – Lead on creating documentation of reporting processes which will help the Company with standardization of processes as well as be used as a training tool for new finance employees.
We’re looking for someone with:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in financial modeling, planning and analysis, or related field; Sound knowledge of corporate accounting policies and procedures and of financial techniques for planning, forecasting, and related analyses
Financial system/application(s) experience [ei:IBM Cognos/TM1,Oracle, etc.]
High degree of problem-solving ability and critical-thinking skills
Ability to multi-task, work under tight timelines and able to react to changing business requirements
Must demonstrate initiative and have the capability of working independently, but also have the capability of working in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and a flexible attitude are essential
Strong experience in using Excel and PowerPoint for conducting analysis and summarizing information
Work closely with Senior Management
Real Estate operational and financial experience a plus

Ability to solve problems and building strong working relationships with peers
Work with multiple corporate entities with accuracy. Global accounting experience a plus.

Work Model: Remote/Hybrid in the Tri-State area of Red Bank, NJ. Preference of occasional / monthly in office collaboration as needed.
