Job Description
Global Finance Modernization (GF Mod) is a multi-year transformation to enable Global Finance to achieve its vision of being a strategic advisor to the business where Finance is shaping and leading critical pivotal initiatives across the enterprise, driving growth and enterprise value. This program focuses on all aspects of Finance, including transformation across our people, processes, operating model, and technology. GF Mod will improve the employee experience and allow Finance to deliver a more seamless and consistent experience to its customers.
Based out of our global headquarters in Chicago (USA),The Finance Solutions – Planning Enabling Solutions Lead is responsible for transforming McDonald’s financial planning solutions for Finance, providing expertise and guidance based on experience with the selected solution Planning tools and solutions to support the development of requirements and design for the Planning solution.
The Planning Enabling Solutions Lead will partner with functional design team members to drive discussions with key Finance and business stakeholders to determine requirements, leading to executable financial planning solutions.
Serve as the financial planning technical expert; providing input on solution data flows, interfaces, reporting testing, and any related communications or training support required
Lead deployment of the financial planning solutions, including conversion, extraction, transformation, and load of data
Partner with key Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, then convert those requirements into technical design documents
Consider technical solutions to challenges and determine the best solution among available options to deliver the best outcome for the business
Liaise between business and technology, review and provide inputs on functional and technical design, & sign-off on key deliverable documents
Supports resource staffing plans for initiatives based on solution guidelines to ensure performance, resiliency, scalability, compliance, & security requirements are met
