The Role
We are looking for a mission-driven finance leader with demonstrated experience bringing accounting and finance in-house. As the VP, Finance you’ll be our first in-house finance hire and will work with our outsourced accounting firm and fractional CFO to build upon a sophisticated finance and accounting function. In this role, you will work closely with the team to define and execute the company’s financial strategy. The VP of Finance will be responsible for implementing a financial management process, building a finance team, and working closely with leadership to budget, forecast, and drive data-driven decisions across the company. This position reports directly to the CEO and Co-Founder.
How You’ll Do It
Assess our current financial partners and tools and begin transitioning the function in-house
Create processes and systems to support exponential growth
Evolve the budgeting and forecasting process
Manage and track accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
Lead preparation for audits, financial reporting and fundraising for stakeholders ranging from board members, investors and team members
Assess capital needs and manage execution of capital raising initiatives
What you’ll bring:
7+ years experience in finance roles with hands-on experience in accounting, business strategy, and business strategy
Experience in saas or similar high-tech, B2B companies highly preferred
Expertise in financial modeling, business scenario planning and risk
Previous experience at high-growth startups with a substantial valuation increase
Self-starter, with a knack for building consensus and meaningful relationships

Compensation:
$140K-$180K base salary
401K + 3% match (eligible after 6 months of employment)
