Our growing team is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join the payroll team and report to our Director of Payroll. This role will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing, including creating and implementing new and efficient/effective processes, processing and reconciling payrolls, maintaining employee data, educating leaders and employees on payroll processes, and handling payroll questions. This position requires the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This position will be required to work 8 am – 5 pm HT (Hawaii Time), Monday through Friday.

WHAT YOUR DAY TO DAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
As Payroll Manager you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and managing all tasks necessary to accomplish client payroll administration.
Job Duties:
Oversee payroll team members to ensure timely and accurate processing and distribution of payroll to client employees.
Provide support, guidance, and auditing with regard to set up and processing for large and/or complex client payrolls.
Audit regular payroll runs.
Validate periodic, quarterly, and annual reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely tax deposits and regulatory filings.
Research and resolve payroll and service issues with clients
Maintain the integrity of payroll and related data for periodic preparation of relevant reports.
Create and/or update policies and procedures to maintain proper controls for accuracy and compliance with internal or regulatory changes.
Work with accounting to provide payroll documentation for reporting and reconciling payroll tax activity across multiple pay cycles and multiple legal entities.
Seeking out continuous process efficiencies or improvements, solicits team for input and participation.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
5+ years of multi-state payroll experience, with at least 3 in a supervisory or management capacity
Prior experience in a large employer or Professional Employer setting
Experience in PrismHR preferred
Exhibit deep knowledge of state and federal payroll regulations, corresponding systems, and internal and external processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong team player able to work with diverse teams in different locations
Demonstrates high levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
Strong organization and communication skills with excellent attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
Certified Payroll Professional preferred, but not required
