About the Role
The Financial, Planning & Analysis Manager will partner closely with MMT leadership across all aspects of financial analytics, reporting and system design/optimization (including areas of revenue, margins, department-level budgeting & reconciliation, cash flow analysis, etc.).
Responsibilities and Duties:
Support development of strategic plans and detailed budget needs (personnel/capital/specific initiatives/other) at both the individual department and well as top-line corporate level
Work with department heads to monitor and evaluate project spend and cash management, for example:
Clinical: implementation spending / cost management (both cash outflow, time burden) with an ROI evaluation
R&D: Project spend, and future cash outflows aligned with new project management process
Marketing: Support ROI evaluation of marketing campaigns and tradeshows
Support Revenue Operations as needed to analyze revenue and assist with evolution of efficient and effective reporting systems to enable predictive forecasting and results analysis
Working collaboratively with leadership, develop and implement capital efficiency-based metrics to help quantify ROIs on operating expense investments to drive growth
Partner with IT to enable effective tools for management to obtain financial insights on a timely basis
Help develop and evolve financial policies to align to our business processes
Support the annual and potential interim audits with our external auditors
Works with the other finance and IT personnel to develop and implement key controls around our financial statements and forecasting
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, with a working knowledge of accounting and strong foundational experience in financial planning and analysis
At least 5 years’ experience working in a corporate finance organization. Practical experience with recurring revenue models is a strong plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
Enjoys building relationships with employees at all levels within the organization. Passion for supporting employees.
Flexible and adaptable to changing situations and needs.
Ability to manage time and resources effectively and productively, prioritize workload, and meet deadline.
Given access to sensitive information, strict adherence to confidentiality and discretion
Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365.
In particular, strong demonstrated financial modeling and presentation skills
Working experience within Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics are a plus. General knowledge and passion to learn enterprise systems a must.
