About the role
We are looking for a driven and proactive Program Manager to manage an ongoing U.S. Government Program. As a program manager, you will manage the scope of work, resources, budget, and schedule. You will monitor projects from initiation through delivery and interface with internal team members. Primary Responsibilities
Have Full Responsibility and Accountability for the Project deliverables and outcomes.
Organize project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensure communication facilitates completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
Define project roles and responsibilities and lead the project planning activities – direct the creation, approval, and enforce ongoing change control of the project plan.
Perform detailed project tracking, recognize when problems occur, bring the right people together to solve them with the proper sense of urgency.
Manage to project priorities and perform risk management.
Drive ownership of decisions.
Collaborate and build relationships across the organization.
Develop a detailed project plan, budget, and task management to achieve task order objectives
Provide status on progress toward objectives to management and team members
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (Graduate degree preferred) and minimum 10 years of prior relevant U.S. government program management experience.
U.S. Citizenship required. Prior military experience is a plus.
Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project management.
Experience working with NASA is a plus.

This position’s approximate base salary range is $130,000-$160,000 annually, depending on experience.
