Mackenzie Stuart are currently partnered with a market leading dietary supplement contract manufacturer looking for a Chief Financial Officer to run the company’s day-to-day operations and the development and execution of its strategic plans having recently received a large amount of funding.
This company is at the forefront of innovation in the dietary supplement contract manufacturing industry. With a commitment to delivering high-quality, science-backed nutritional products, they specialize in providing turnkey solutions for brands seeking excellence in product development and manufacturing.
Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
• Conduct Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute the company’s operational strategy aligned with overall business goals.
• Develop and implement business strategies which will grow the profitability of this successful business organically.
• Overall management of the company’s finance function including leading and motivating the finance team.
• Implement process improvements to optimize production workflows.
• Ensure that the company is compliant with both local and international policies covering a wide range of activities including, corporate governance and information security.
• Encourage profit enhancement initiatives and effective capital management through commercial input into the running of the business
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and certifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to key personnel within the department.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve profitability.
• Identify opportunities for expansion into new markets and product lines.
• Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on emerging trends in the nutraceutical industry.
To be considered for the role, the following education, experience and qualifications are required:
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the dietary supplement or nutraceutical industry.
• Exhibit sound knowledge of the dietary supplement contract manufacturing market, as well as the wider health, wellness & fitness industry.
• Excel in a fast-paced, challenging setting, managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.
• Exhibit analytical prowess and effective time management.
