Since 1901, Louis Allis has designed, built, repaired, and remanufactured electric rotating equipment for a wide range of applications and legacy specifications. We are seeking a highly motivated outside salesperson in the greater Warrior, AL area. Job Description: The sales representative is responsible for the effective sales efforts in parts of the Alabama and Tennessee Territory. This position will be expected to develop new customer accounts, advise customers on service center capabilities, and introduce new services to customers. Requisite skills necessary to perform this position: Strong communicator – both written and oral Sales Experience – including prospecting, lead generation, and lead management. Excellent phone and data entry skills For all the necessary products and services offered by Louis Allis, the required training will be provided. First year earnings will be based on current/prior experience and demonstrated ability. Summary of Job Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations: Meet assigned quarterly sales goals. Resolve problems reported by our valued customers. Learn and apply procedures, products & services with consistency. Maintain full compliance with company policies and procedures. Develop a list of prospective customers with manager, determine appropriate sales strategy, call customers, and follow up with additional visits and correspondence as appropriate. Analyze and understand customer requirements. Establish long-term customer relationships utilizing sales techniques, policies and philosophies of the company, and service center capabilities. Consult with appropriate management on problems involving pricing, specifications, warranties, and service adaptions. Have thorough knowledge of competition in the marketplace and competitive bid situations. Successful candidates should have, but not be limited to the following requirements: 2+ years sales experience with industrial equipment. Possess the natural ability to project a professional and polished image through various channels of customer communication. Demonstrated track record of excellent data entry skills and PC proficiency. Possess working knowledge of MS Office PC applications and CRM/Sales-I (a plus) Possess a willingness to engage in continuous learning and then retain that knowledge for consistent market application.
