ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Acquire vehicle financing to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the Vehicle Sales and Finance departments.
Maintain a process with the Sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the Finance Department.
Uses selling techniques to establish value in the products (Features, Advantages, Benefits)
Train and provide the sales team with information regarding the benefits of the dealerships financing and extended service programs.
Providing effective communication throughout the Finance & Sales department as well as inter-departmentally.
Monitor funding list and maintaining status is always current.
Process and organize all documents required for dealership compliance and funding as listed on the Business Office checklist.
Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department including general housekeeping.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all other managers, employees and departments
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to meet deadlines
Minimum 5+ motorsports industry experience. Additionally, the ability to manage and motivate salespeople is necessary.
Required to maintain the profitability of their department while controlling expenses and retaining customer satisfaction.
Creative problem solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
Highly organized with ability to multi-task across multiple projects; excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Management personnel require strong, excellent verbal & communication skills to deal with customers, employees, and vendor.
Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment with multiple strict deadlines.
Expert software skills including MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong background in business, mathematics, & marketing.
Ability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals.
