Long & Associates, LLC (L&A), a financial management, business consulting and administrative support services firm, is seeking a Manager, Financial and Accounting Operations Support to join our team. Working to support our client, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), this position will lead, manage and support a team of professionals to provide general accounting services, financial analysis and reporting for the purpose of maintaining, analyzing and producing FHAs accounting records, financial statements, budget submissions, cashflow , statistical models while capturing general accounting entries. As well as to assist the FHA in executing and managing its integrated financial operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, or related filed,
Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA),
10 years, or equivalent, of professional accounting experience in FEDGAAP, U.S. Standard General Ledger, Credit Reform Act of 1990, U.S. Treasury reporting requirements, OMB Circulars A-123, A-136, and A-11,
5 years, or equivalent, of professional accounting experience, including preparing Federal financial statements,
Knowledge of budget execution, expenditure, abnormal balances relationship between budgetary and proprietary accounting analysis, development and maintaining posting model and supporting daily accounting of source systems,
Knowledge of credit subsidy, credit subsidy re-estimates, and economic modeling, and
Knowledge of budget execution, expenditure, abnormal balances relationship between budgetary and proprietary accounting analysis, development and maintaining posting model and supporting daily accounting of source systems.
