The Marketing Event Manager oversees all aspects of gaming and non-gaming promotions / specials or VIP events, including but not limited to, budget, plan and execute either on / off-site events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develops, plan, and execute all promotions, special events, to promote or brand casino gaming and resort activities.
Manages marketing specialists or representatives to execute promotions and special events.
Collaborates with Marketing Director to build Marketing strategic plan / calendar, budgets, and summary briefs for each individual project in alignment with marketing goal achievement.
Assists in submitting of, getting approval of, and verifying of, all promotional rules, contracts, proposals, purchase requisitions, and any other necessary documents to fulfill the planning and executing of a promotion, special event.
Sources, negotiates and contracts to purchase promotional items to ensure the promotional success and maximize the return of investment to meet overall company financial goals.
Processes all paperwork needed for payments to vendors sufficiently and timely.
Coordinates with the Marketing Database team to prepare pro / post forma invoices for the relative promotions, events.
Coordinates with the Marketing team for the production of prints / digitals / media and broadcast / pre-sales blast / mailers / text messages in conjunction with promotions, events.
Coordinates with other department such as Facilities, Warehouse, EVS, Security to achieve a flawless logistic plan to execute promotions.
Coordinates with all internal departments such as F&B, Hotel, Security, and Facilities, as well as external vendors, to prepare all necessary items and schedule sufficient staffing for promotions, events relatively.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Presents to Marketing Director and Executive team strategic plan / calendar with relative information on the quarterly basis.
Also, communicate and update casino-wide the current / coming promotions and events on a monthly basis.
Maintains inventory of all promotional items systematically; and cleanliness of promotional stage / area.
Responsible for casino-wide decoration for holidays or special days or for the promotions and events.
Serves as Little Creek Casino Resorts point of contact to vendors, guests and internal team members for promotions, and special events.
Attends all mandatory meetings and training.
Maintains confidentiality.
Displays sensitivity to Native American Culture.
Operates within the parameters of the Little Creek Human Resource Policies, Departmental Policies and all other applicable regulations.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing and / or Entertainment based field
OR at least five years of experience in a casino promotions and event management position at a medium to large scale casino required
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
Class III Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission
