Assists with the planning, coordination and administration of general accounting activities of the organization. Provides professional support to all areas of the Accounting department as needed including the preparation of financial statements.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Accounting preferred).
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including week-ends and holidays to insure continuity of care and appropriateness of coverage for the patients of Sovah Health Martinsville.
Minimum Work Experience
In lieu of Bachelors in Accounting or Finance, three years Accounting experience required. One year of experience in financial statement preparation, strong technical and computer experience. Previous health care experience preferred.
