Summary: Coordinates the daily billing activities of assigned areas. Works independently to maintain consistent workflow of all billing activities. Works collaboratively with the Professional Billing Office, physicians and third party payers. Provides and performs coding functions to optimize revenue enhancement. Serves as a technical resource to department for coding recommendations. Ensures the integrity of the billing functions and monitors compliance according to established policies and procedures. Ensures that all customers receive exemplary service. Serves as a patient/customer advocate when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field, experience 3-5 years.

Schedule: Full-time, Flexible hoursEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
