Directs all the operations or activities of the reverse flow of equipment and coordinates the human and logistical resources dedicated to this function.
Directs, defines and implements the process of returning the equipment (wired and wireless) of the reverse logistics flow from the collection point to the Central Warehouse and/or authorized service center.
Is responsible for coordinating with the Technical Service Providers (ASC) the reconditioning and/or re-manufacturing of the equipment returned quickly and at the lowest possible cost for Claro PR. Ensuring the integrity of the equipment in the transportation process.
Directs, defines and executes the logistics for the return of refurbished and remanufactured equipment for the Claro Update, Mobile Protection, “Certified Preowned” and Guarantees Programs.
Directs, defines and executes warranty policies for claims of defective wireless equipment or products (DAP) or that equipment obtained from commercial inventory (CAC, stores, dealers) to cover non-compliance in the repair of customer equipment. To this end, it is in charge of notifying and charging Manufacturers (OEM’s) effectively in order to achieve the highest cost recovery of these commercial assets.
Directs, defines and executes negotiations; and makes payment agreements of the balances owed by the OEM’s to make effective the collection of the equipment claimed through credit notes, cash or recovery with commercial units for new sales according to the need supported by the Purchasing Area .
Coordinates with the Purchasing, Marketing and Mobile Protection Area everything related to the reuse of returned equipment for Claro PR programs, such as, Replacement of Equipment in Repair Periods
Designs logistics systems, flowcharts and plans or programs for the recovery and treatment of wireless equipment associated with mobile network customer sales.
Establishes the procedures that must be applied and the systems or means of communication between the areas involved in the programs for the recovery and treatment of the equipment.
Optimize internal procedures/processes, detect and propose improvement processes.
Establishes the conditions and requirements that must be met by subcontractors to guarantee the quality standards of reconditioned and remanufactured equipment, monitoring periodic compliance with the entire process.
Negotiates prices with manufacturers of reconditioned and remanufactured equipment to get the best prices in the market.
Responsible for controlling obsolescence
Monitor and verify the inventory level in the different warehouses of the customer service centers. Ensuring the correct levels with respect to demand. Coordinate and implement the necessary reports to follow up on the tasks. Review of all open transactions in the system to reconcile warehouses. Demonstrates and ensures compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America’s policies, and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures Other functions may be assigned.
