Essential Functions:
Leadership and responsibility for all financial aspects of a Directorate within the Air force Program Area
Orders, Sales, Profit, Cash (Billings/Collections), and R&O forecasting, analysis and reporting
Lead the execution of the Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial reporting/reviews for the directorate
Lead/Support EVM implementation, IBRs, and program performance reviews and adherence to all financial policies and procedures
Ensure accurate program EAC and profit forecasting
Ensure internal and external financial reporting is current, accurate, complete and on time
Proposal/Pricing support, finance BOE and business case development and review
Ability to interact and effectively communicate with customers and leadership including partnering with the Program Director
Lead a team of Finance professionals supporting programs in the Directorate including conducting performance reviews
Coordination across Finance & Business Operations team to identify issues, implement best practices, and conduct/coordinate training
Familiarity with SAP, BPC, Deltek Cobra/Open Plan, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Outlook (or similar tools)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 9 years of applicable experience, or, Graduate Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Must understand Earned Value and the relationship between schedule and Earned Value reporting (cost and schedule)
Good communication skills
Experience leading a team
Must be able to interact with various levels of customers, internal and external
Ability to understand and train on schedule and cost information
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $80,000 – $142,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
